History of Holography
Holophile is the world leader in producing traveling exhibitions of holography for art museums and galleries, science centers, nature centers and children's museums.

Since 1977, Holophile has traveled the following exhibitions -- some for the Museum of Holography in New York City:

Through the Looking Glass

FutureSight: Innovations in Art Holography

As We See It: National Geographic World of     Holography

Picture This: The World Seen Through     Holography

Our Current Traveling Exhibitions

Our holography exhibitions are highly educational, stimulating and entertaining. To learn more about the three shows we currently offer, click on the exhibition titles below (pdf format):

"The Nature of Holography" introduces visitors to the "nature" of holography — its unique characteristics and how it differs from other media -- by displaying a variety of natural and wildlife images.

Inspired by American installation artist Bruce Nauman's 1968 holographic self-portrait of the same name, "Making Faces" introduces visitors to the many types of holograms used to "make faces," including pulsed portraitures, integral stereograms, embossed and photo-polymer holograms that produce both still and moving images.

For rental fee and availability, contact Paul D. Barefoot at Holophile Inc.

The image appears to be so real that visitors are often tempted to reach out and touch it... only to find nothing there but focused light.

Children are mezmerized as they view "The Nature of Holography."
